Music has the power to bring joy to our lives, especially in a time like now. A few Columbus musicians jumped into action when COVID-19 started to close the spots where local music could be heard. They formed a group called Columbus Quarantunes Collective on Facebook, where local artists can post music for the community to enjoy. A GoFundMe link allows the community to donate any amount to the cause, and will be split evenly between all participants. To kick it off, the group performed an original song about—you guessed it, being in quarantine. A percentage of net proceeds, up to $1000, will benefit the Columbus Quarantunes Collective.
